Metamorphic massage

This massage originally discovered by Robert St John, is given on the reflex points of the spine representing the prenatal period. The reflex points of the spine are stimulated on the feet, the hands and the head.

This massage works on a very deep level and considers that the cell has a basic awareness from the very beginning of life.

The treatment is concentrated on zones representing the period in-utero where our physical, mental and emotional structures are formed. A work can also be done with dreams , their symbols and interpretation.

Violette Prod'hom enriches this approach through the development of the "massage" of the subtle planes.

The massage helps the individual's own innate inner intelligence free deep blocks in our body's energy pattern and somehow bring about resolution of stuck patterns at the root of problems in our life and health.

The Metamorphic technique is a gentle massage on the feet, hands and head. It focuses on reflexology meridians in the feet, hands and head which correspond to the spinal column and in turn to the incarnation, gestation and birth of the individual.

Updating and relaxing the scheme of the nine months of intrauterine life through the physical plane and the subtle planes, metamorphosis releases a new potential energy, releases deep blocks in our body's energy pattern and bring about resolution of stuck patterns at the root of problems in our life and health.

  • The feet represent our ability to move: "forward on life".
  • Hands represents the capacity of action, giving and receiving: "Give and take life with both hands".
  • The head represents thought, reflection and spirituality: "Manage your own life".

The session

In the practice of the Metamorphic Technique the practitioner uses a light touch on the feet, hands and head. Metamorphic Technique practitioners do not impose their will or seek to direct the recipient’s life force in any way. An environment can then emerge in which the power and intelligence, that are already inherent in the life of the person, will be the best guiding factor for the unique life that the person already is. Some people may wish to talk, whilst others prefer to be quiet. There is no need for practitioners to know about your personal or medical history.
